The Pop-Tarts Presents American Idols Live! website was designed to be an online tie-in to special pre-sale tickets provided to Kellogg's customers. The website provided customers with special access to obtain the pre-sale tickets from Ticketmaster. Upon entering the website, the visitor was presented a countdown in the number of days until customers could purchase the pre-sale tickets. Once the date arrived, access was opened so customers could purchase pre-sale tickets through Ticketmaster's website.
